Return & Refund Policy – ShopSquare


At ShopSquare, your satisfaction comes first. If you’re not happy with your purchase, we’ve made our return and refund process simple, fair, and transparent.


1. Eligibility for Returns

You may return items within 7 days of delivery if they meet these conditions:

         - The item is unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received.

         - You have the receipt, order number, or proof of purchase.

         - The product is not on the list of non-returnable items (see below).


2. Non-Returnable Items

For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

         - Perishable goods (e.g., fresh food, beverages).

         - Personal care items (e.g., cosmetics, skincare, undergarments).

         - Digital products, software, or gift cards once delivered.

         - Customized or branded products made specifically for you.


3. Return Process

          1. Request: Contact us via WhatsApp, call, or email within 7 days.

          2. Approval: Our team will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.

          3. Pick-up / Drop-off: Depending on your location, we’ll arrange pick-up or guide you to the nearest ShopSquare partner point.

          4. Inspection: Once received, the item will be inspected for approval.


4. Refunds

         - Approved Returns: Refunds are issued within 7–14 business days after inspection.

         - Refund Method: Refunds are processed to your original payment method (mobile money, card, or bank).

         - Partial Refunds: In some cases (e.g., damaged packaging but usable product), a partial refund may apply.


5. Exchanges

If you prefer, eligible items can be exchanged for another product of equal or higher value (with the price difference covered by the customer).


6. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us immediately:

         - We will arrange a free replacement or full refund.

         - Please provide photos or proof when reporting the issue.


7. Delivery & Return Fees

         - Customer’s Choice Returns: The customer covers the return shipping cost.

          - ShopSquare Fault (defective/wrong item): ShopSquare covers all return and replacement costs.
